Your Roadmap to Improved Safety

Established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee, the Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. There is no charge for this service (unless you are applying for STEP Platinum), and your responses are strictly confidential.

2010 STEP Deadline

STEP applications are accepted throughout the year.  However, if you wish to guarantee recognition at your chapter's award event, please submit your 2010 STEP application to your local ABC chapter by March 5, 2010. 
2009 STEP Platinum List

2,231 ABC contractor members have applied for the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) program in 2009--a new record!  801 ABC contractor members have earned the prestigious STEP Platinum status, given to those companies who display the highest levels of safety performance and long-term commitment to jobsite safety.
